Company description The Brooklyn Kitchen is a radical cooking school devoted to teaching people how to cook like grown-ups. We are woman owned, and have been leading the scene in recreational culinary education since 2006.  Job description The General Manager will be responsible for managing staff, maintaining class calendars and scheduling, purchasing ingredients and supplies. The GM will be responsible for all operational aspects of the Williamsburg kitchen, and will report directly to the owner. The GM must be able and willing to teach classes, assist classes, run errands and do the dishes. We believe in a healthy work-life balance, and it is the responsibility of the GM to make sure that the kitchen runs smoothly even when they are not there.
