IN SUMMARY

Serve as a liaison at The Market with the attitude of a coach/mentor to assure employees and managers have what they need to be successful. Manage daily operations by executing HR policies and procedures, initiate resource planning and recruitment. Maintain interdepartmental communications; assist with planning and implementing various training programs; oversee payroll processing and handle employee relations, including complaints and concerns. Analyze and maintain attrition rate, administer leaves of absence, oversee work-related injuries and reporting, internal promotions, employee evaluation appraisals and conduct end of employment procedures.

OVERALL

SERVE as a link between management, our two locations and employees to improve function or communication.

• BE A LIAISON between the company and outside legal and professional resources to ensure all employment policies and actions follow current laws and regulations.

• ADVISE leadership and managers on organizational policy matters, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes. • ENSURE diversity, equity and inclusivity through all people practices, including hiring, onboarding, compensation review, disciplinary actions professional development and learning.

• PREPARE AND FOLLOW budgets for personnel operations.

• OVERSEE records maintenance and compellation of statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.

OVERSEE staff performance/evaluations problem resolution and training.

RECRUIT: help develop a company recruitment strategy and culture of hiring great people.

ORIENTATE/ONBOARD: help improve a two location company’s orientation and onboarding practices and procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· Frequently raise or lower objects up to 40 pounds from one level to another regularly

· Remain on feet in upright position for continuous periods of time

· Walk throughout store, including to other buildings and outdoor areas

· Exerting force up to 40 pounds on a require basis so object is moved to or from team member

· Carrying objects up to 40 pounds on a regular basis

· Grasping and/or picking up objects

· Regularly reaching for objects

· Bending forward by bending at waist or bending legs and spine

Experience:

Several years’ experience in an HR Manager position in a small to middle-sized (50-200 people) business is required for consideration.

Compensation:

$75,000+/- Annual Salary for full time employment depending on qualifications and experience.
