In 2021 Billings Farm celebrated its 150th Anniversary as a working dairy farm.

Billings Farm & Museum is committed to improving our sustainability & regenerative practices. Our vision includes replanting pasture and crop land with a no till drill seeder and making substantial improvements to be able to carry out rotational grazing. We are planning a significant investment in fencing and creating lanes to reduce their impact on the land among other initiatives.  We have approximately 50 milking Jerseys, and we are committed to the care of the animals and the land.

As a member of the Farm Team you would be performing the day-to-day work of the farm. Including cleaning, bedding, feeding and other farm related duties. The herd consists of approximately 90 jersey dairy cows of which approximately half are milked. Small animals include chickens, goats and sheep. In addition to draft horses and oxen.

We are hiring FT (with competitive benefits). Billings Farm has a 5 day work week (exceptions may occur) and competitive pay.  Duties may include but not limited to bedding, haying, feeding, milking and other barn chores. Must be able-bodied to lift, bend and walk distances. Honesty, dependability, hard working and a positive attitude are integral qualities of all team members. Must be able to follow directions and work independently.
