A packaging assistant is an entry level position at our production facility and brewery located in southwest Atlanta. On a daily basis you will be cleaning all aspects of the brewery like, kegs , tanks, floors and hoses. You will be helping in leading the team on packaging days and seeing the packaging experience through from start to finish. The ideal candidate is hard working, takes pride in their work and is a quick learner.
This position consists of brewing, packaging, cleaning and kegging kombucha tea. You'll work alongside the head brewer and assistant brewer of Golda Kombucha in Georgia's Largest Kombucha Manufacturing Facility. A close eye for detail, craft, quality assurance and cleanliness is a must for this position. A substantial amount of heavy lifting and physical labor is required.
The ideal person for this job has experience in mechanical labor, home brewing, food packaging, manual labor, fermentation or working in a fast-paced food environment. If you have worked in beer breweries, car shops, construction sites, machine factories, functioning farms, industrial plants or full-scale food production sites you might be a perfect fit. The ideal candidate is not afraid to get their hands dirty and enjoys the challenge of that kind of work. This job requires a great deal of hand-eye coordination and common sense.
At Golda Kombucha, we believe maintaining a work and home life balance is key. The schedule for this position is part-time, 3-4 days per week with flexible hours and the ability to take on more shifts and responsibilities as the company grows. This position has upward mobility within this swiftly growing company. We are looking for a permanent fixture in the company with a bright future ahead.
