Location: Riverside, CA (2 days on site minimum at production facility / week) 

Your Mission: We are looking for a versatile associate to join our supply chain team and facilitate the production of key Banza products. You will also play an important operational role in launching new products and manage a variety of projects throughout the supply chain. Innovation and improvement are at the core of how we work, and we are always reviewing our data to make smart decisions while seeking to evolve how we operate. You will be central to the Banza team, working closely with our product, manufacturing, and sales departments. This role provides the unique opportunity to support a growing brand at a critical level - from the center of our manufacturing. We’ll look to you as a key team member for day-to-day operations with wide visibility within our organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee raw material planning, purchasing, and delivery to meet production plan and provide adequate risk mitigation
  • Develop and optimize processes related to material purchasing, inventory levels, and shipping systems to meet best operations practices 
  • Responsible for end-to-end processing of POs in ERP system
  • Responsible for Banza co-packing execution in ERP system (purchase, transfer, and work orders) 
  • Interact with suppliers to schedule deliveries and resolve shipping errors
  • Manage day-to-day logistics across our warehouse, co-packers and transportation partners
  • Oversee and maintain supplier documentation and Banza certifications
  • Provide regular forecast updates to suppliers and production partners
  • Manage new SKU set-up and maintain accuracy of current items across systems
  • Innovate and improve Banza packaging solutions to meet cost goals, equipment constraints, and support new product designs 
  • Oversee quality escalations and resolution within Banza supply chain. 
  • Collaborate with multiple branches of Banza, including Business Operations, Product Development, Sales, Manufacturing, Finance and Insights & Analytics

Who You Are:

  • An operations or supply chain professional with 2-3+ years of relevant experience
    • Experience with purchasing, design, and/or supply chain for packaging 
    • Experience with manufacturing and enterprise quality assurance processes 
    • Hands-on at a manufacturing environment
  • An effective communicator with experience working interdepartmentally & with external partners
  • A diligent, organized, thoughtful, and highly accountable person
  • Familiar with ERP Systems, preferably NetSuite
  • Advanced in your Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint ability 
  • Familiar with vendor certification and labeling requirements a plus  
  • Adaptable to dynamic environments and shifting priorities

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

Our salary ranges are based on verified market data and our philosophy of paying competitively for our size and industry. In addition to base salary, full time employees receive equity, medical, dental, and vision insurance through United Healthcare, free Banza products, and monthly stipends for fitness, internet, and cell phones.

Certain roles related to Sales are eligible for a quarterly bonus based on achievement of sales targets.  

Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.  We expect the majority of the candidates who are offered roles at our company to fall healthily throughout the range based on these factors. The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $80,000. The range is for the expectations as laid out in the job description, however, we are often open to a wide variety of profiles, and recognize that the person we hire may be less experienced (or more senior) than this job description as posted. If that ends up being the case, the updated salary range will be communicated to you as a candidate.
