Fast forward 20 years, and we have grown to a wonderful team of 18 employees, serving customers at our retail location, buying clubs, local farm markets, restaurants, and health food stores.

Wild For Salmon is currently hiring a Content Creator to join its innovative marketing team in Bloomsburg, PA. This opportunity is a full-time position for the right candidate. Join our fun, hardworking, and growing team today!

About Us:

Wild For Salmon is an industry leader in providing quality, wild caught Alaskan seafood to consumers across the United States. Our local Bloomsburg store services the NEPA region with access to quality seafood, direct from the fisherman. Our Wholesale department provides our products to restaurants, grocers, and health food stores across the US. Our growing E-Commerce store provides consumers a way to have quality, wild caught seafood delivered right to their door, wherever they may live!

Objectives of this role

  • Maximize consumer engagement with marketing content
  • Share insights on competitor marketing content
  • Develop Wild For Salmon's marketing and branding presence throughout all channels
  • Encourage collaboration to unify marketing output
  • Improve Wild For Salmon’s search engine optimization (SEO) presence
  • Widen Wild For Salmon’s marketing reach

Responsibilities

  • Use SEO best practices to drive traffic to Wild For Salmon’s digital channels
  • Collaborate across teams to determine and solve campaign objectives
  • Monitor digital engagement metrics
  • Promote company offerings to reach new audiences
  • Research market trends and developments relevant to campaign subject matter
  • Aid with the visual design of promotional materials

Skills and qualifications

  • Outstanding copywriting, social media, or video production skills
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Ability to work effectively without oversight
  • Confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Superb organizational and time-management abilities
  • High degree of computer literacy

Preferred qualifications

  • Significant experience creating high-quality marketing content
  • Capable of managing multiple competing priorities
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
  • Comprehensive understanding of impactful marketing tactics

Compensation:

Starting Wage: $19.00-$21.00/hour *Based on experience

50% of Wild For Salmon's Health Care Plan

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
