The Essex Westford School District is made up of 10 different schools which serve children in grades K-12 from Essex Town, Essex Junction, and Westford. With just over 4,000 students who speak 46 different languages, it is the second-largest district in the state. Job description

Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has openings for a part-time Cafeteria Worker at Essex High School. EWSD is pursuing candidates with a genuine commitment to providing nutritious food options to students of all ages within the district! The schedules available are 7am to 11am or 8:15am to 1:45pm Monday-Friday.

Pay: $17.75+ based on experience

 

Primary job duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain a clean work environment in accordance with the State Sanitation Guidelines.
  • Prepare and serve food
  • Assist with maintaining inventory.
  • Assist in ensuring that students conduct themselves in line with established cafeteria rules. Report unusual problems to the building administrator or Food Service Director.
  • Perform cashier duties: set up cash drawer; operate cash register; cash out at the end of the day.
