Company description

Laughing Earth is a diversified small farm in Brunswick, NY whose mission is to feed the bellies and minds of our local community, both raising food in an ecologically-minded way and teaching our farm members and consumers about the true costs and benefits of food production. On our 175-acre conserved farm, we raise certified organic vegetables for a 130-family Farm Share program and our on-farm store, as well as rotationally pasture a variety of livestock to sell the meat and eggs both on the farm and at the local farmers’ market. 

Job description

We are looking for someone with food prep experience to prepare sandwiches for the Saturday Troy Farmers Market.  Hours are between 8am and 3pm.  We have developed a small menu and are open to your interests and creativity in improving our offerings.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, $15-20/hr
