Company description Blue Moon Acres Farm was started by Jim and Kathy Lyons in 1992 as a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm, growing a small array of vegetables and greens at the home farm in Buckingham, PA.

Now, twenty years later, we are known as the premier supplier of micro greens to the top restaurants in New York and Philadelphia. We have grown to include numerous varieties of micro greens and Certified Organic specialty greens and produce in our greenhouses and fields in Buckingham and Pennington, NJ. We use only natural methods in our growing process– no chemical pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, or growth regulators are employed.

2014 marked the first year of our Jersey-grown Certified Organic rice offering.

Buckingham, PA location: Blue Moon Acres is seeking a full-time, in-house customer service position to service our wholesale restaurant and store accounts.

Job Description

• Contacting customers and facilitating orders on a twice weekly basis using custom order entry program and Quickbooks software
• Visiting prospective customers (mainly restaurants and food markets) in NYC, DC, Philadelphia
• Handling incoming phone calls, walk-in visitors, relaying messages, and providing general farm information to all callers and visitors
• Handling donation requests
• Event organization
• Facilitate new customer setup
• General office duties: filing invoices, replenishing product guides and other marketing materials
• Edit marketing materials to reflect current product availability and/or work with graphic designer to complete
• Additional projects/duties as assigned
