Farm Sales Team Leader Wilson Gardens

  • Date Posted September 23, 2016
  • Location Wilson, AR
  • Category Agriculture / Business
  • Job type Full-Time
Company description

Wilson Gardens is a diversified farm in the AR Delta, raising produce, flowers, herbs, and livestock, using organic and sustainable methodology. We were established in the Spring of 2014 and are working towards building our business and supporting our mission to: increase access to healthy foods; promote food literacy; and provide educational experiences to families throughout the Mid-South, with close proximity to Memphis, TN. We strive for our business to enhance the lives of our customers and the community in which we operate. Wilson Gardens is a young, dynamic, high-energy company looking for dedicated team members who are passionate about our philosophy and growing with us.

As a non-certified, organic farm we rely heavily on cover crops and compost for our soil fertility. We practice an integrated pest management system, using crop rotations, timely planting and companion planting and only use certified organic pest sprays when absolutely necessary.

We hope for our grounds to be a celebration of food: a place where people can gather, learn, grow and eat!
