Position:

Seeking a passionate Operations Manager to:

1) Oversee our weekly, year-round markets and team of on-site managers

2) Establish and maintain the highest customer experience and vendor satisfaction level in the industry

3) Build relationships within each community to bolster market attendance and our brand awareness

4) Work independently, in accordance with organization principles, to manage the day-to-day operational activities to allow the owner flexibility to expand the business

5) Work from home opportunity (with occasional market on-site requirements)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire and manage staff & volunteers
  • Lead weekly staff meetings, assign duties and supervise progress
  • Establish a market volunteer program within first three months on the job
  • Report directly to owner
  • Customer & vendor relationship management
  • Oversee all customer and vendor communication
  • Coordinate vendor scheduling to attain goal of 100% vendor occupancy rate
  • Community building
  • Find and cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with local businesses, non-profits and community groups
  • Event Management
  • Oversee operational details to ensure successfully run weekly farmers markets
  • Develop and implement a schedule of special events at markets that promote a healthy lifestyle and community building
