Job description Maine Street Meats is seeking a qualified and experienced bread baker for a full time, year round position. We are located on the beautiful coast of Maine between Rockland and Rockport , both thriving and dynamic communities! We are looking for someone who can continue to grow our business for the primary shop as well as special events and wholesale accounts. We bake a selection of daily breads, including an Italian rustic loaf, Pain au Levain, Semolina and Baguette. We are looking for someone who is confident in their skills and who will be interested in adding new breads and strategically building our selection. We are committed to providing high quality, delicious and beautiful bread for our customers. This position requires the management and complete production of our bread; from using poolish and natural starters to shaping and baking. We have a fully equipped bakery and kitchen in the building. Work creatively with us to develop new offerings and opportunities to increase the current business.
