Events & Marketing Assistant

About CHG: The Columbus Hospitality Group, owners of Mistral, Sorellina, Teatro, Mooo, L’Andana and Ostra Restaurants is currently seeking an Events & Marketing Assistant to join our award-winning restaurant team. We are looking for self-motivated, upbeat, friendly individuals who are highly organized and detail oriented. Applicants must have experience in sales, marketing and customer service. Position reports to the Events Manager and requires some nights and weekend hours. CHG offers competitive wages, benefits and a professional work environment. Responsibilities:
*Work directly with clients to plan and finalize event details
*Update all social media channels consistently and work with Events Manager and back of house staff to create content
*Provide exceptional customer service to guests throughout the planning process
*Make sure events run flawlessly through execution
*Daily administrative and office tasks
*Provide support to Events Manager as necessary

Requirements:
*Self-starter with a positive attitude
*Highly organized and eager to learn
*Experience in Sales, Marketing and Customer Service
*Restaurant experience preferred
*Flexibility in schedule (some nights and weekend hours required)
*Strong interpersonal skills
*Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
