Minimum Length of Stay: Full season preferred Internship description Skills Desired: Focused, trustworthy, hardworking intern with an interest in sustainable farming practices. We are looking for flexibility, good communicator and team worker. Experience with farm work, outdoor and physical labor preferred but not necessity.
Internship Details: Interns will be working alongside an experienced, creative thinking farmer provides opportunity for experiential learning. Greenhouse, field work and light tractor work. Training provided for all aspects of seeding, weeding, bed prep, watering and marketing.
Educational Opportunities: Opportunities for local farm tours and attending farmers markets also available.
Meals: Meals on own with access to farm and market produce, staple foods, and eggs. Weekly communal dinners with family and other workers.
Stipend: $1200/ month, staple foods, plus housing on-site.
Housing: Trailer on site is private use for intern only. Separate bathroom and kitchen shared. Internet available. Woodburning sauna on grounds as well as historic mansion and barn seminar facility run by Claymont Society for Continuous Education. claymont.org
