Coastal Media LLC is an independent media company looking to fill a key role in our growing team. The Coastal Table is our award-winning food + lifestyle quarterly journal, and the cornerstone of our brand.
Job descriptionWe are looking for a like-minded individual, that’s full of creative ideas and willing to think outside the box. We are looking for someone who shares our same aesthetic and passion for food, home, travel, and all things coastal. This position will work alongside the Publisher and Social Media/Marketing Manager to help grow and expand our brand through advertising and business partnerships. We are looking for a seasoned professional to join our company and build an exciting career with us.
- This is a part-time, 1099 position with lots of flexibility for the right person.
- The ideal candidate has previous, proven ad sales and business development experience.
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with advertisers, content partners, retail and promotional partners.
- Develop travel programs and partnerships.
- Highly driven, creative, and self-motivated.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
EXPERIENCE:
- College graduate.
- At least 5 years sales and business development experience.
- Entrepreneurial, creative self-starter with ability to work in a highly-collaborative, team-based environment.
- Extremely goal-oriented with the ability to be organized and prioritize.
- Must have existing relationships with agency/media buying community.
- Publishing experience a plus.
- Experience working with a start-up a big plus.
