Company description Pork and Pickles is a new BBQ restaurant in Essex Junction. Pork and Pickles is the brick and mortar extension of the food truck and catering company Lazy Farmer. Through consistent quality, service, and hard work we have built up a loyal following that allowed us to open our restaurant.

We pride ourselves in sourcing local ingredients and work directly with a handful of small farms around the state. We serve delicious seasonally inspired food, and take effort to ensure our customers have a memorable experience every time they visit. Job description We are seeking a Line Cook

Chef owned barbecue restaurant with a passion for quality, locally sourced food. We opened in late June and have had a fast growing following because we pride ourselves on our quality food, positive customer service, and a positive work environment.

This is a part time position with the ability to grow to full time in a couple months. We offer competitive pay as well as bonuses from offsite catering events. The right person will also find opportunities to grow their career with us.

Job Requirements:
• Positive team oriented attitude.
• Desire to learn.
• Passion for quality food and hospitality.
• 2 years line cook experience.
• Weekend availability.

Nice to have but not required:
• Experience or interest in catering and or food trucking.
• Recipe/Dish development.
• Open availability Tue-Sat, Lunch & Dinner shifts.
• Culinary degree
