The FOH Manager will support daily meal execution and programming by setting high standards for and offering exceptional hospitality at all points of service. This role will manage all front of house duties during breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They will fulfill administrative duties including FOH inventories, ordering/receiving packaged snacks and beverages, and lead Fare Resources’/client’s social media accounts. This role may be asked to cross-train in culinary techniques to contribute to the success of the team.


Responsibilities
  • Management and oversight of all FOH points of service
  • Establishes a culture of hospitality as outlined by Fare Resources
  • Primary lead for meal service set-up/breakdown, onsite food execution, food presentation, and onsite transportation/delivery
  • Ensures time and temperatures are logged, and all labeling standards are achieved
  • Ordering/receiving and storage/stocking of all packaged snacks and beverages
  • Maintains pars of all house made snacks and beverages through direct communication with the commissary or Sous Chef
  • Creates and maintains high standards for all things stored and organized
  • Manages proper signage for all offerings
  • Onsite POC for client employees
  • Execution and oversight of all FOH opening and closing duties

Requirements
  • 3+ years experience in a professional hospitality environment with a passion for food & people
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, communication & patience
  • Basic culinary skills and techniques (finishing/plating)
  • Attendance and punctuality is required with schedule flexibility determined by needs
  • Ability to be a self-sufficient problem solver and make sound decisions on-the-fly
  • Strong understanding of professional catering service etiquette
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and professionalism, communication and patience
  • Self-sufficient problem solver
  • Fun to be around
  • Good knowledge of local products, producers and farms
  • Hungry to grow within a startup
  • Extremely organized and disciplined
  • Big picture thinker with ability to multi-task
