Company description Ploughgate Creamery is located in Fayston, VT in the heart of the Mad River Valley. We produce artisanal cultured butter on a century-old farm that overlooks the nearby mountains. We have been operating out of our new creamery for just over four years, with our butter being sold mainly in restaurants and specialty food shops throughout the Northeast. Learn how to operate a successful small business by getting involved at the ground level.

The Ploughgate Summer Intern would assist with production and shipments, as well as feed livestock and help to maintain our small garden.

Our intern must be eager to learn, have flexible hours, and share a passion for gourmet food production. We are looking for an energetic, organized and capable person that will show enthusiasm with each new project.

You must be able to regularly lift over 50 lbs, have a valid driver’s license and a working vehicle. Ploughgate would provide you with housing and a weekly stipend.
