Bakers & Cooks Piecemeal Pies

  • Date Posted April 16, 2017
  • Location White River Junction, VT
  • Category Culinary
  • Job type Full-Time
Company description

Piecemeal Pies is a British inspired PIE SHOP and local HARD CIDER BAR in White River Junction, Vermont. We specialize in savory meat pies, but really, we love our vegetables and sweets just as much.

Using local, organic, and seasonal ingredients is what we’re all about, so we work with farmers to make sure we always have the best vegetables, fruits, and meats possible. We believe that starting with exceptional ingredients grown and raised by people we know, and committing to quality all along the way makes for the tastiest pies. We want to make food that’s delicious for the community we love. And we want to offer the best cider around.

We care about our staff as much as we care about our farmers and our customers. The pie shop is ultimately a product of the family that works here! We’ve had a great first season, and now it’s time to find a few excellent additions to our team.

We are currently seeking hard-working, smart, friendly, team-oriented, experienced kitchen staff to join us.

Our kitchen is open, so we roll dough and butcher rabbits in plain sight of our customers. We pay very competitively, and tips are distributed evenly amongst the entire staff. This helps our mission to make food and cooking more approachable, and it facilitates a strong team environment.

Job description

Though we are absolutely looking for experienced cooks, we also very much believe in ongoing training and will definitely be reviewing/teaching to Piecemeal Pies’ high standards of preparation and food knowledge.
