The Skinny Pancake is one of Vermont’s largest buyers of local food, and we are hiring for General Manager of our flagship location on the Burlington waterfront. Our current GM is a Skinny Pancake veteran who will soon be promoted within the organization and we are looking to fill a very impressive pair of shoes. This is one of the top leadership opportunities in the VT local food movement.

The right candidate for this position is an experienced, motivated restaurant operator with a relentless commitment to guest satisfaction. They will be a supportive, consistent and collaborative manager who leads by example. Responsibilities include:

-Optimizing financial performance as it relates to food & beverage, as well as other operating costs. 

-Collaborating with the catering team and Marketing/Music department for special events, private functions, and live music to enrich day to day restaurant operations. 

-Working collaboratively with the Marketing team to promote strong top line revenues, mission-driven events, and community-oriented promotions.

-Fostering an engaging work environment and positive work atmosphere through strong hiring, training, development and discipline for all staff at the Burlington location
