Our pigs spend their days rooting in our woodlot, our lambs eat exclusively grass and our chickens run around the farm as they please. Brasen Hill Farm in Barrington, NH (www.brasenhillfarm.com) is hiring a harvest coordinator and farm store manager for the 2017 season. We raise pastured pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and grassfed cows, goats and lambs as well as organically grown (but not certified) vegetables and small fruits for retail, wholesale to markets and restaurants, and our CSA.
 

This position will consist of coordinating daily harvests for the farm store, farmers market, CSA, and restaurant orders. In addition, this position will oversee daily operation of the farm store, including maintaining inventory, being responsible for sales, and assisting CSA customers with their weekly pickups.
 

Ideal candidates will be community minded and excited about working to distribute local food to CSA members and restaurants, as well as attending farmers markets. Prior experience working on farms or in customer service is not required, but is preferred, especially as pertains to sales experience.
 

This position will begin in June 2017 and run through October 2017. It is a full time position, with scheduled days on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Evening hours are required Wednesday-Saturday, while Sunday’s shift is during the day. We offer competitive hourly pay based on experience.
