Company description Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company is a community owned dairy farm in central Vermont. We produce award-winning cheeses from the milk of our own herd and love what we do! We believe good farming practices result in good food and are looking for someone who has an equal appreciation for food production, farming, and the process behind our craft.

The Cheese Board, our retail cheese / specialty food shop in Windsor, VT has a seasonal outdoor pizza oven that is open from the end of May through the middle of October. Job description Calling all Pizza Chefs! We work in a very fun outdoor Beer Garden-esque atmosphere - as we share a garden with Harpoon Brewery! Outgoing and friendly customer interaction is a MUST as you will be greeting customers and taking orders. 

Shifts are Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. Prep work, such as planning and ordering ingredients, may be required prior to Fridays.

As we are developing our menu for the season, there is currently room for some creativity.  Knowledge of dough tossing, sanitation, food preparation, ability to work in high flow environment, maintain clean workspace (yes you must clean) and mature attitude are required. Shifts will vary from running station and orders solo, to working with team for larger festival events.

Located at Artisans Park, next to Harpoon Brewery in Windsor, VT.
Shifts available: May 19th thru October 15th
11am-8:30pm Fri, Sat and Sunday (plus holidays) Compensation this position is : hourly, varies DOE, $14.00 - $16.00 Application instructions
