Job Summary
The Kitchen Attendant is involved in nearly every aspect of the daily operations of Fork Food Lab. The Kitchen Attendant is focused on details, execution, cleanliness, organization, positive customer interactions, and staying on task in the hubbub of day-to-day operations. Food Safety is at the core of the Kitchen Attendant position, with training paid for by the company.
Tasks:
-Deep cleaning of equipment in the kitchen
-Routine sweeping and mopping of floors
-Emptying trash/recycling/compost
-Assist in the operation of private parties
-Minor food preparation and transportation for catering events
-Sanitize member tables
-Enforcing kitchen code of conduct with member companies
-Shipping and receiving packages
-Logging members use of kitchen
-Interact, inform, and transact business with the public for on-site markets
-Take inventory
Requirements:
-Ability to lift 50 pounds
Preferred:
-Strong communication skills
-High school diploma/GED
-Prior kitchen experience
-ServSafe certification
-HACCP, SQF knowledge
