Aria restaurant is a highly acclaimed fine dining restaurant, serving dinner six nights a week. The chef and owner, Gerry Klaskala, designs his award winning menus around seasonal and local products, when they are available.
The pastry chef, Kathryn King, is focused on the seasons as well. Her desserts
have received numerous accolades in the local and national press.
Our dining room manager, Andres Loiaza, along with his staff; had the honor this year of being nominated for a James Beard national award for excellent service.
This is a full time, night line position. Responsibilities include making foccacia for the tables, running ice creams and sorbets, and plating desserts. We make everything that we serve, (except chocolate!) from fresh fruit sorbets, to puff pastry.
There is also an opportunity to learn some of the production involved in the finished products.
We serve quite a lot of dessert, so this is a busy position, and fast paced.
The work encompasses many details, which add up to beautiful and delicious results.
this position is PAID: hourly, under $15/hr
