Dear Friends & Followers of Good Food Jobs,
It's official: WE'RE OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
Since our humble beginnings in April 2010 we gained a following of over 4,000 faithful subscribers with our weekly newsletter that alerted everyone about good food job openings. People who weren't even seeking a new job told us that they read the newsletter just because it's inspiring and thought-provoking.
As people who are devoted to food, both environmentally and culturally, we started Good Food Jobs as a way to strengthen the food economy by encouraging its growth and exploration. We aim to use the job search site, and the accompanying Gastrognomes blog, to educate people about the multitude of ways that one can embark on a food-related career - one that is satisfying, empowering, and beneficial to others.
Since our soft launch two weeks ago, there are more than 60 jobs posted on the site, from all across the country. We're forever indebted for all of your help and encouragement so far. The email praise, wise words, and endless support have helped shape this business, and needless to say, we are so grateful for our own good food jobs.
