Good morning!
We like to think that each week that passes brings more positive progress: more jobs are being posted, additional folks are signing up to use the site, and we meet more and more inspiring individuals doing good food work. The challenge for us is to continually hone Good Food Jobs to be the most effective tool for everyone.
So last week we made a positive change: you no longer have to sign in to view job postings. We noticed that a lot of people open the newsletter each week, and that many of them even move on to the site, but that having to sign up before browsing the posts can be a deterrent. And we hate to keep you from the latest posts, even briefly. Now you can freely peruse all the GFJ listings without having to register or sign in. The new protocol is that you'll have to create an account and sign in to view the How To Apply section of any job post. Let us know what you think.
The other plus is that you can send listings to your friends, family, colleagues, and fellow food lovers with reckless abandon - we know when you find the perfect job opening you can't wait to share it. (Try using the handy dandy 'share' button in the upper right corner of each job listing.) They can then give it a gander and get a feel for the site without having to sign up right away.
And, as always, if you have any comments, criticisms, or ideas for making the site more useful for you, don't hesitate to let us know.

If you’re just hearing about QCFM, you’re not the first to be shocked that there is a historical working farm in New York City – and you can take the train there. Not only that, but thanks to Keha and her cohorts, it churns out some of the most delectable products at any farmers’ market stand in the five boroughs. It comes naturally to her. Read more
