TAY: Hmmm, Dor, do you think we should remind people about our new email alerts again in this week's newsletter?
DOR: I don't know. It seems as though we've already talked about them so much. . . I hate to beat a dead horse (to use an awful expression!)
TAY: I know, but what if there are people that (GASP!) missed our first two announcements?
DOR: How could that be? Our readers are so loyal and attentive. But everyone gets busy. . . I guess it wouldn't hurt anyone to throw in a gentle reminder.
TAY: You're right. Let's remind them. I doubt anyone reads the emails as closely as we do . . . except for those people that always kindly point out the typos we make (yeah, sorry about those typos). It can't hurt, right?
DOR: You're so right. What would I do without you?
Hey, Job Seekers! Just in case you missed it before, you can now get your favorite good food jobs to your inbox.

THE GASTRO.GNOMES BLOG
Cheryl Cohen
Director
London Farmers Markets
Whether you work in the food industry, or daydream about working in it, chances are that you spend as much time as you can at your local farmers' market. Even if it's only once in a blue moon, on a random weekend drive upstate, when you find yourself at the telltale cluster of tents, there is a feeling of magic that's hard to attribute to any one component - the sight of fresh produce, the way people are drawn together, the possibility of what you'll discover among the stands. When Nina Planck founded the London Farmers' Markets in the UK capital, Cheryl was the first person she hired to help her organize that magic and spread it around the city. If you're in the area, don't miss out on an opportunity to visit one - and if you live there, don't miss Cheryl's invitation to get involved (see below)! Read More

BREWMASTER
Ithaca Beer Company
Ithaca, NY
We'll admit it: we have a special place in our heart for Ithaca. And we've enjoyed seeing IBC mature over the years since we left the Finger Lakes. We're sad to see Jeff O'Neill head downstate to Peekskill Brewery (after all, he was the mastermind behind the Ithaca Brute, one of our favorites), but it means that another star (brewer) gets to shine under the Ithaca banner. Is it you?
FARM OFFICE MANAGER
Poplar Ridge Farm
Waxhaw, NC
Behind every good CSA is an office manager. This pivotal role ensures that the farm fresh produce gets from farm-to-table in a timely and efficient way, securing much needed profits for the farm and supplying much appreciated produce for the customers.
