Good Food Jobs is a gastro-job search tool, designed to link people looking for meaningful food work with the businesses that need their energy, enthusiasm, and intellect. We post opportunities with farmers and food artisans, policy makers and purveyors, retailers and restaurateurs, economists, ecologists, and more.

the gastrognomes is a blog for food lovers who want to put their passions to work. We profile the most interesting, engaging, and unlikely food professionals that we find, and we publish them here to inspire you.

Last week's newsletter urged you not to wait; to seize the day; to get creative. There are many ways to do this. You can volunteer, dip your toe in the water, secure a full-time gig, or just go whole-hog and (eventually) start your own food related business.
This week's featured jobs (below) all emphasize entreprepreneurs - highlighting them, helping them, and/or becoming them. We know it's not for everyone, but if you are itching for the opportunity to build your own business or be your own boss just know that it takes a community to do it yourself, and we are always here to help (tagline credit: DIY Business Association).
So today we ask aspiring entrepreneurs to ask us: feel free to reach out with your business inquiries - from securing an accountant to tracking down the ideal domain name - if we don't have the answer, we just might know someone who does.
Cheers,
Taylor & Dorothy
