Good Food Jobs is a gastro-job search tool, designed to link people looking for meaningful food work with the businesses that need their energy, enthusiasm, and intellect. We post opportunities with farmers and food artisans, policy makers and purveyors, retailers and restaurateurs, economists, ecologists, and more.

NICE THINGS PEOPLE SAY

I am definitely one of those people who reads your weekly newsletter, happy to feel less alone in my attempt at a righteous career in food.
                   - Caitlin, Newsletter Reader

Thanks so much for helping to bring together this community of vibrant, passionate, meaning-seeking people so that I can find great candidates for my company.

                       - Giulia, Job Poster

We are so pleased to be of service.
Why is it that no matter how long it's been since your last day of school, the day after Labor Day still invokes a feeling of sudden change? Though school years seem to be extending earlier, and you might live in a place that does not have quite as brisk a seasonal change as the northeast, we'd venture to say that you feel the same way.

Like squirrels furiously burying acorns, we can't help feeling an invisible pull toward productivity. And we're not alone. This is our third September in existence at Good Food Jobs and we always notice a swift upswing in both number of jobs posted and traffic to the site come September.

So, goodbye to the sleepy days of summer. Sad as we are to see them go, we're ready to button up, buckle down, and go full throttle with forward momentum. In the coming weeks, you can expect to see a serious facelift on the gastrognomes blog and on our very own home page at goodfoodjobs.com. We're looking forward to showing you a fresh face.

Cheers,
Taylor & Dorothy

While social media remains a mystery to many of us, Jenna and Nicole's company, Local Creative, gives it a friendly face. They are a small food-related business working with small food-related businesses, and to us that sounds like the future of entrepreneurship. Read More
