Good Food Jobs is more than an online job search engine for people in search of meaningful food-related work. We’re a community of people from all over the globe with diverse backgrounds and common goals. We have questions to ask, and stories to tell.

We at GFJ headquarters (Taylor and Dorothy) are working to redesign the home page at goodfoodjobs.com to better reflect the sense of community that has grown around this work since we launched the website and blog in 2010. We’d like to use photographs to help us achieve that goal, and that’s where you come in.

Job description

The new home page at goodfoodjobs.com will feature a slideshow of 5 or 6 images which will change and rotate regularly. We are looking to collect 25 to 30 images before our launch date (TBD later this summer). This will be an ongoing project, requiring a new set of images over set periods of time, indefinitely.

We’re open to your creative input, but some ideas of what we’re specifically seeking are:

• Photos of people at work
• Photos of people gathering together
• Photos of people in landscapes
• Photos of places/spaces reflecting recent gatherings of people
• Photos of people interacting with the natural world

Your photos can be existing, as long as they have not currently published elsewhere online, or we can discuss terms for commissioning photographs based on your previous work and what we are looking for in this project.

As we become familiar with you and your work, we may have additional photographic projects to commission in the near future.
