AND THEN THERE WERE 400 . . .
We're not entirely sure how it happened. Week after week, we keep plugging along. The thought of drafting 400 newsletters is daunting, indeed - but spread over 8 years, we've somehow managed to stay in touch. The honest truth is that the weekly practice has become our own essential touchstone, keeping us connected across borders and boundaries - to the website, to the community it brought together, and to each other.
It seems like the weeks whip by, and the months meld into each other. We've blinked and almost a decade has passed. The swift passage of time has us continuously considering how to make the most of the limited hours in each day - and although there's a cultural desire to cram more and more in, there's a more personal tug to simplify and strip things down to the bare essentials.
Thank you for being a part of this ritual. Here's to making another 400 more.
