In the middle of February, summer seems so far away. Just a few days ago, you could almost smell spring in the air. But now our fingers are chapped anew, as we type, and the cold snap outside has penetrated our bones, even though we're keeping it toasty inside. 

But if you are a farmer or a gardener, you know that it's the right time of year to plan what you're going to plant. It's helpful to make deadlines so that you don't forget and wind up hibernating past the point where it's too late to get those seedlings high enough to go into the ground. 

We believe that the same philosophy applies to making the most of your summer opportunities, whether you are a student, a professional, or someone looking to make a career change and desirous of the chance to get your hands dirty practicing new skills. That's why we're giving you another chance to apply for the Vermont's Table summer program at Sterling College in the Northeast Kingdom. There are two different sessions available, and three different scholarships.
