NICE THINGS PEOPLE SAY

Your work board is amazing!!! So refreshing to see vs Monster Board etc. The real jobs are exactly what you are offering to people! Not jobs of being another cog in the wheel but of a real revolution going on. GREAT WORK!

I discovered Good Food Jobs only a month ago, and it's been one of the best discoveries I've made. It's exactly what I've been looking for in a job site for quite a while!

I've long been a daily visitor to your site, and cannot thank you enough for the work that you do, and the comfort, support and motivation that Good Food Jobs provides.

We are so pleased to be of service.

In the middle of February, summer seems so far away. Just a few days ago, you could almost smell spring in the air. But now our fingers are chapped anew, as we type, and the cold snap outside has penetrated our bones, even though we're keeping it toasty inside.

But if you are a farmer or a gardener, you know that it's the right time of year to plan what you're going to plant. It's helpful to make deadlines so that you don't forget and wind up hibernating past the point where it's too late to get those seedlings high enough to go into the ground.

We believe that the same philosophy applies to making the most of your summer opportunities, whether you are a student, a professional, or someone looking to make a career change and desirous of the chance to get your hands dirty practicing new skills. That's why we're giving you another chance to apply for the Vermont's Table summer program at Sterling College in the Northeast Kingdom. There are two different sessions available, and three different scholarships.

Learn more about the Vermont's Table program.

There's no time like the present.

THE GASTRO.GNOMES BLOG

Hugh Phillips
Farmer
Food Forest

We've told the story of suits to overalls before (and we'll tell it again) but Hugh's voice resonates with us, in part because of his practicality. There's nothing whimsical about his approach to a rural lifestyle, his desire to have more time for his family, and the fact that he isn't willing to entirely give up financial success. Here's a man who knows what he wants, has done the work to find out how to get it, and is kind enough to share some of his resources. Read More
