ISSUE NO. 465

EVERYTHING IS RELATIVE . . .

Like many others near and far, we were crushed with a sweltering heat wave all weekend. Today, the rainy 65-degree morning feels more like 45, in comparison to yesterday. It's a good reminder that:
  • everything is relative. If it were a 65-degree day in February, we'd likely be breaking out the shorts and open-toed shoes, whereas today we are bundled up in jeans and a sweatshirt.

  • there is an ebb and flow. Just when the heat seems like it will never break, it does.
There is something about the shift in weather that reminds us of how you can find gratitude in the simplest things. That's also how I felt reading the latest GFJ Story, about Asha Carter and her work at DC Greens. We hope you'll read it and feel a shift in your own perspective.

Cheers,
