ISSUE NO. 436

A NEW YEAR . . .

We always appreciate the promise of a fresh start. Sometimes a reset button does wonders. And while life doesn't magically change when closing one year and starting the next, we enjoy the solitude of winter in these parts: the dark mornings and nights breed a special kind of rest and stoke a quiet spirit of conviviality. Reconnecting with ourselves allows us to better reconnect with others.

This week's tidbits are particularly fun. When life gets too busy we forget what humans can accomplish even in limited amounts of time and even with limited resources. We hope that your year is off to a good start.
