Connecticut based couple passionate about organic garden-to-table cooking seeks an experienced full time private chef who will oversee meals at the couples' residences domestically and internationally. The ideal candidate is seeking a long-term commitment, will have demonstrated private chef experience in a formal home and at least 5 years fine dining experience in kitchen with a farm-to-table philosophy. With a great positive attitude and passion for healthy, organic cooking, the chef will cook five days a week at the couple's CT residence and be required to travel to their homes in Sonoma, CA and Bordeaux, France throughout the year. Chef should be able to seamlessly and consistently execute a range of cooking from healthy, organic meals for two to multi-course dinner parties for 10 or more, and occasionally catering larger events. Couple has organic vegetable garden and seeks a passionate chef whose cooking style, aesthetics and philosophy is in sync with their healthy lifestyle. As the location of the home is two hours outside Manhattan, living in close proximity to CT home is required. Full time salary, health insurance, and onsite housing while in France will be provided. In addition, home base for chefs may be in either CT or Healdsburg. Chef will be reimbursed for housing in other location. Must be willing to travel for long or short periods of time (1 week to 1 month, possibly 3 months at a time) and be flexible with couple’s travel schedule.
