Job description

True Made Foods has reinvented America's favorite sauces - Ketchup, BBQ Sauce and Sriracha. We removed the corn syrup and sugar and added vegetables, specifically spinach, carrots and butternut squash. Our vegetables naturally sweeten our sauces, turning these once empty calorie American favorites into nutrient dense, paleo friendly superfoods.

We're based in Alexandria, VA and growing fast, and we need reliable, talented and motivated brand ambassadors who can help us sell.

We just launched Safeway Eastern Region (MD, DC, VA, DE) and need brand ambassadors to help us ensure we quickly become a Safeway favorite.

A personal vehicle and a willingness to drive to demos is required and you will be compensated for travel.

Job Description: Build awareness, gain new trial and increase sales of the brand. This includes, sampling the product in stores and at events and creating a personal connection with the consumer.

We are looking for outgoing, friendly and positive individuals who are passionate about our mission and brand to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in working at a small brand with a big story and eager to learn and grow with the business. This is a part-time position that can grow into full-time for the right individual. An ideal candidate must be:

• Enthusiastic and interested in promoting healthy eating and living
• Willing to talk to anyone at any time and enjoy face-to-face contact with consumers
• Actively draw in customers to the demonstration table and drive sales
• A self-starter, be punctual, reliable and professional
• Be able to get to and from the locations with reliable transportation
• Create positive customer association with the brand
• Record suggestions and comments from management and customers
• MUST have weekend availability, minimum 1-2 demos per weekend. Some weeknight opportunities may be available for those interested.
• Follow all food and sanitation guidelines

Demos are generally 4 hours long and occur between 11am-6pm.

We offer $20/hour. This is a very flexible position, as we will work around your current commitments and, after you prove yourself, you will be allowed to make your own schedule. We are hoping to bring someone on board who is reliable, motivated, and will engage and promote our brand with a long term commitment and desire for growth.

The better you do for us, the more opportunities will be available! Our territory managers started as brand ambassadors.
