Founded by two friends back in 2008, our Underhill Avenue ice cream/coffee shop retains the magical neighborhood vibe that continues to keep our regulars coming back and attract new ice cream and coffee aficionados daily. Our events division includes seasonal outposts at The Brooklyn Flea, Smorgasburg, Governor's Island, and Summer Stage, as well as numerous Private and Special events. We make ice cream fresh in our own certified organic plant in Sunset Park. We've got a growing wholesale business, with our ice cream found at partnering companies across the city, from The Barclays Center to Tavern on the Green, from jetBlue's first class cabin to Le Pain Quotidien in Central Park, and of course at The Brooklyn Flea, Smorgasburg and Governor's Island every weekend all summer long... Despite our growth, we remain a community driven company and are looking for someone with experience to jump in and be one of a very active team.
Job description
Come be part of our team at Blue Marble Ice Cream! We've got a delicious product and are looking for energetic, motivated, hardworking barista/scoopers to be the face of our store. If you have a food handler's license, it's a plus but not a deal breaker. Our lovely store hosts all kinds of events and will do more as Spring and Summer unfold.
