Job description

Based out of North Park, San Diego for the last 10 years, our growing company is seeking a part-time Farm and Maintenance Technician to work on a variety of projects in Orange County, from backyard gardens to small corporate farms. While this position has potential to grow over time, it will average 24-32 hours per week.

Required Qualifications include:

- Comfortable working outside all day, on a daily basis
- Comfortable with physical labor
- Can lift up to 50lbs
- Reliable daily transportation
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Bonus: experience with Google's email, Drive, calendar

This position requires some experience with gardening and/or farming. While possessing all the following skills are not required, you should have experience with or some knowledge of:

- Seeding and transplanting
- Harvesting
- Plant and soil health
- Treating for pests/diseases (with organic products)
- Fertilizing and amending (with organic products)
- Fruit tree care
- Irrigation

This is an hourly, non-exempt position for 24 - 32 hours per week. Pay is BOE.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $13.00 - $14.50
