Job description

This position is for the retail space in the front of our greenhouses WED through SAT. We offer fresh produce, whole unprocessed fish, aquaponics and hydroponics supplies, tour and class sign ups, as well as home systems. The person filling this position will be required to answer the company phone, help customers answer questions about aquaponics systems (how they work, help find supplies for home systems, how they are sustainable, etc), ring people up at the cash register, and sign customers up for classes and tours. Some light harvesting and packaging may be needed on occasion if we are short-staffed.

We are looking for someone who is knowledgable in either aquaponics or hydroponics (and can learn about aquaponics), familiar with plants, and good with people. Previous work on a farm or in a garden is preferred but not required. Our farm has a laid-back environment while still maintaining a focused, efficient, and productive work day.
