We are a European-style fromagerie. The tiny nature of our original shop taught us to select all of our products with the greatest of care so everything we sell in our stores you're likely to find in our home pantries as well. (Yes, we are very lucky and we eat very well.)
In our second location which also contains a restaurant and wine bar, we source all fresh ingredients, whenever possible, from growers and producers within a small radius of our hometown.
While cheese, charcuterie, and wine are what we sell, what we ARE
is a small business with two locations in Charleston SC owned, financed, and operated by two women who are also best friends. We go to work prepared to do whatever it takes to make our business successful and we work alongside our team every day, not as bosses but as co-workers. And we expect those people to work as hard as we do. We believe that if we treat people the way we want to be treated, we will attract and keep better people.

Charleston?!This is the perfect job for a person who absolutely adores great food and has the desire to know where it comes from, how it's made, what it goes with, what makes it special.
We have 27 linear feet of artisanal cheeses and charcuterie that need tending! This position requires old fashioned, one-on-one customer service: no pre-cut supermarket cases here! We taste, teach, cut to order every piece that goes out the door. And we create the most beautiful catering boards you've ever seen and we'll teach the right person how to as well.
We work as a team and help each other so knowledge of or willingness to learn other aspects of the business like wine and coffee is a big plus.
Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $13.00 - $16.00
