Bee Wild is a 3-generation family owned and operated honeybee farm in Gainesville Georgia. We specialize in doing  small seasonal batches of our wild-crafted varietal honeys such as “Wildflower” and “Sourwood”.

We practice sustainable beekeeping and are proud members of 1% For The Planet. With that, we donate 1% of our annual revenue to organizations actively working to save the honeybee population.

Job description An opportunity to learn from a 2nd generation Beekeeper with 50 + years of beekeeping experience and wisdom. Perfect position for anyone interested in learning how to keep bees.

We are looking for a beekeeper's assistant to help with the following farm activities:

-Hive Management - Visiting the apiaries and helping the beekeeper check on the status and health of each hive as well as the harvesting of honey.

-Honey Extraction - Collecting honey from the hives and extracting it at our farm.

-Honey Packing- After the honey is collected we pack, label, and box it at our farm.

Timing - The busy time of year for us and when we have the most work hours to offer is April - September but we will still have some work hours available during the off season for honey packing and some hive management. 

We are willing to give a gas compensation for anyone driving further than 20 miles from the farm.
