We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable individual who is looking to get their start in the events world. As an Event Assistant, you will assist the Event Manager in all duties related to our drop-off catering and special events department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Event Manager with managing client inquiries, job proposals and communications for all drop off catering and special events.
- Assist in managing client calendar and weekly event schedule
- Assist with marketing & social media strategy including managing social media calendar
- Assist Event Manager with sales & client outreach.
- Assist in production related duties
- Purchase & maintain office supplies
REQUIREMENTS:
- A degree in Event Planning or related field preferred.
- You demonstrate excellent client relation and communication skills
- You pride yourself on your attention to detail and your ability to juggle multiple tasks at once.
- You can problem solve with the best of them and always remain cool, calm and collected in stressful situations.
- You are proficient in using MS Office. InDesign experience is a plus!
HOURS:
This role will role with be full-time Monday through Friday. Generally hours are 9am-5pm, although some nights and weekend work may be expected for events.
Compensation
this position is: salaried, less than $50,000
