We care for and sell a variety of vegetables, herbs, natives, fruit trees, and shrubs, and offer seasonal educational workshops in our demo garden.
Job description
We're looking for a landscape design intern for our Garden Center Department. We offer customized garden install and overall lawn care for both commercial and residential space. We currently specialize in edible and functional gardening but offer the whole spectrum of landscape design. You would learn and be an integral part of the sales, estimate, design development packages, total design, and implementation facets of our landscape projects. Our clients range from multi-acre, million dollar residential homes, to local churches and conglomerate townhome properties. Our ideal candidate would have some schooling or major interest in the areas of horticulture such as landscape architecture or landscape design but this is not a requirement. Candidate must be able to speak English, work outside for a majority of the day, and have dependable transportation. We're particularly partial to self-motivated and team-oriented people, we have a great vibe in our business and would like someone that fits with our energy!
Compensation
this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $10.00 - $15.00
