Korbel Champagne Cellars, located in the picturesque Russian River Valley, has been a long-standing California Champagne establishment in Sonoma County since 1882. With thousands of tourists visiting every year, our winery is nothing short of a beautiful and informative winetasting experience for every customer who walks on our property.

And what goes best with California champagne and wine, you ask? How about a trip to our lovely gourmet Delicatessen, where we serve up tasty treats and locally sourced foods! We are dishing up new recipes daily! Our Deli is open 7 days a week from 9-5 p.m.

We are looking to fill a full-time position for a Deli Supervisor. This position will be responsible for assisting the Deli Manager in all aspects of the daily operation of Korbel Delicatessen and Market. In the absence of the Deli Manager, this person takes on the top-level supervisory role and works to problem solve issues concerning the staff, the Deli and its visitors. This person will be responsible for the training of all front of house Deli staff and ensuring that the staff understands and follows all department policies and procedures with the goal of ensuring that all customers leave with a favorable impression of Korbel. Additionally, this individual is responsible for working closely with the Deli Manager in areas such as: inventory control, purchasing, merchandising, retail sales and promotions, scheduling, payroll and the maintenance of business records.

A minimum of two years in a food/beverage retail establishment in a management/supervisory role and/or related experience and training is required. Proven experience in management of a profitable operation is desired. Culinary/Hospitality/Business college courses, certificates or training is a plus. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Compensation

this position is: hourly, varies DOE, $21.50 - $26.00
