Hi there! we're hiring a Creamery Production Associate to help us make delicious Ice cream, butter, and cheese.

We are looking to add to our team a hard-working person with an attitude of professionalism, positivity and of learning. You will be helping make artisanal ice-cream, butter, and cheese. Apart from the production aspects of the job, you will also be helping sometimes with research, deliveries, packaging, order fulfillment, and marketing. With good development, there are many growth opportunities in this position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ice cream production: pints and 3-gallon tubs.
  • Butter Production: churning butter, packing butter in 25-pound blocks and individual pounds.
  • Cheese Production: Helping make a variety of artisanal cheeses.
  • Cleaning of make rooms and sanitizing equipment properly.
  • Keeping records of inventory and production
  • Packing product for delivery

 

Requirements:

  • You have a professional attitude
  • You are coachable
  • Have experience in the food service/food production industry
  • You know about food safety
  • You can multitask, think on your feet, and adapt
  • You can lift 50 pounds
  • You are hardworking and take pride in producing a high-quality product
  • You have decent basic math skills
  • You know how to use a computer, and research on the internet

 

If you don’t have experience making these products but are very excited about the opportunity and have experience making food and at least some experience or knowledge of fermenting, then we are willing to train you.

Compensation this position is : hourly, varies DOE, $15.00 - $18.00 Application instructions
