Jagerberg is a Beer Hall and Alpine Tavern that opened in February 2018 in Hunter, NY - the heart of the Catskill Mountains. We serve updated versions of classic German and Alpine fare, German beer & wine and German style beer & wine made in NY State. We use locally sourced meat and produce when available. 

The Jagerberg kitchen is lead by Christie Flanagan, a CIA trained chef.  Under her leadership, Jagerberg has quickly become a local and tourist favorite with a reputation for excellent food.  Jagerberg is a women owned and led restaurant.  We strive to create a professional atmosphere where work is rewarding, fun and fulfilling.

Jagerberg is located directly across the road from the Hunter Mountain Ski area and is centrally located in the beautiful Catskill mountains. Ski, Hike and enjoy the outdoors during the day, then come work at a busy, fun beer hall and tavern in the evening.

Job description We are looking for a bar manager who is also willing to do regular shifts tending bar. You should have a minimum of 3 years experience working in a fast paced, casual but professional restaurant. You should have a good knowledge of craft beer, especially craft beer made in NYS, as well as continental and NYS wine. As the bar manager, you will be responsible for inventory, ordering, training any additional bartenders, and keeping all bar documentation current and relevant. You will also be expected to contribute ideas for the cocktail menu as well as keep on top of beer and wine trends that fit the food and the theme.

Nice to have experience is creating and organizing events. These events could be centered around our current bar program and brewers, distillers and distributors we currently have relationships with.
