Company description Temple-Wilton Community Farm is a biodynamic farm that has been operating as a CSA for over 30 years. We are seeking people who wish to farm in and for community— those who wish to meet the needs of others directly and in harmony with nature. Towards this end, we actively work with the ideas behind community supported agriculture (CSA) and practice biodynamic agriculture. Job description Our farm has two openings available. In exchange for your support, we can offer an initial salary of $24,000, housing, two weeks vacation and access to the fresh foods of the farm (vegetables, meat, milk, yogurt, cheese and eggs).

Vegetable Assistant

The assistant vegetable grower helps with all aspects of sowing, transplanting, cultivating and harvesting over 40 different varieties of vegetables from 4 acres throughout the course of the year. They will also help create and apply biodynamic preparations to the gardens.



While farming experience is helpful, more important is the interest and willingness to develop oneself with consideration for nature and our community.

Soil and Animal Care Assistant

Our Soil and Animal Care Assistant should be interested in holistic animal care, biodynamic principles, permaculture, ecoculture and native knowledge to assist our Lead Dairy Manager to milk and care for our dairy herd and keep our chicken flocks happy and healthy. Our tasks also include preparing eggs for market, fencing and pasture care, as well as hay and compost making.

We currently have 30 animals in the herd and milk 17 cows. We are a certified raw milk dairy and keep the horns on our cows. Calves stay with the herd and nurse their mothers for up to four months. We maintain up to 300 laying hens and roosters.
