The Inn at Valley Farms, situated on a 100-acre working regenerative & pasture-based farm, has been welcoming guests since1999. On our farm, Walpole Valley Farms, we raise 100% grass-fed and finished beef, pasture-raised chicken, turkey, pork, and eggs. We operate a farm store on site where we sell our meats, eggs, jams, maple syrup, etc. and we opened a farm to table restaurant, The Hungry Diner in 2017.

We are striving to become a unique foodie destination, tying the farm, inn and restaurant together, giving guests a memorable and educational farm experience.

Job description

The Inn at Valley Farms is seeking an individual or a couple to run our agritourism B&B. The ideal candidate(s) are friendly, excellent with customer service, self-starter(s), great with social media and email marketing, interested in regenerative agriculture, detail oriented, have a love for hospitality, a love of entrepreneurship-this is a great opportunity for anyone looking for the experience of running an inn or a business, and the ability to problem solve in a flash.

The position would be ideal for a couple or a family and the compensation is a combination of salary, lodging and services (all utilities, WiFi, satellite TV, trash removal, laundry), and food from the farm. This position is perfect for someone looking for a lifestyle not just a job. Incremental bonus opportunities that correspond with occupancy rates, 6 weeks off during the months of January and February (paid).

Duties include but are not limited to:

*managing online bookings through email, phone, and third party sales channels

*event planning and management of small weddings

*marketing to repeat and and new guests

*greeting guests upon check-in

*managing guest inquiries via email, phone, and in person

*making breakfast

*managing part time employees

*email and social media marketing

*cleaning, baking, & gardening

*shopping for supplies & inventory

*complete daily checklist (check-ins, check-outs, restocking, serving breakfast, prepare afternoon tea, etc)

*helping guests with restaurant reservations and directions

*light maintenance and repairs, yard work, etc.

Compensation

this position is: salaried, varies DOE, $40,000.00 - $50,000.00
