Life Around the Table (LATT) is a small, growing non-profit ministry, based in North Carolina, serving a diversity of communities across the ecumenical spectrum in NC and an increasing number of other states. LATT is an emerging leader in the food and faith movement, working at the intersection of food, spirituality, and creation.
The mission of Life Around the Table is to encourage, equip, and invite clergy, congregations, and communities to eat together faithfully. We do this through two programs, Sabbath Life and Eating Together Faithfully, focused on fostering robust conversation about food and faith that leads to life well lived around tables everywhere.
Life Around the Table (LATT) is looking for a creative and skilled Communications Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a good working language, practice of and passion for the food and faith movement, community building, and creation care.

The Communications Coordinator will work with our team to develop and implement communications strategies that amplify LATT’s work and inspire key audiences. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, organized, and skilled writer with the ability to create powerful messaging to engage diverse audiences and drive action.
The Communications Coordinator will develop content for LATT’s various communications needs including core messaging and brand identity, promotion and marketing, and impactful storytelling. Communications channels include website, social media, and Constant Contact email newsletters.
This position requires excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills and a knack for developing engaging content for various audiences. Strong website management skills and social media skills, as well as proficiency with MS Office and the ability to work efficiently in a Google environment (Google docs, Google calendar), are also required. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred.
