Job description
Partners Coffee is looking for a store manager at our West Village cafe.
In addition to leading by example and serving incredible coffee on the bar, our Managers are responsible for placing coffee orders, scheduling, controlling inventory, opening/closing the café, inspiring the staff and driving sales. Managers work weekends. Having a restaurant or kitchen background a plus – as is fluency in Spanish.
Qualifications
o One-year specialty coffee experience in NYC or a comparable market, preferably in an assistant manager or manager role
o Weekend availability
o Knowledge and understanding of brew methods, extraction and latte art
o Warm, engaged customer service
o Ability to work on your feet 6-8 hours a day, lift 30lbs and climb stairs
o NYC Food Handler’s Card
o Experience with Square, When I Work and Google Docs
o All Managers must pass Partners Barista Certification
